One of the areas that I have faced the most challenges in my life is money. For a very long time money just seemed to come in and go straight back out to paying bills and debts. There have been times when I had £10 to last me for about 2 weeks, and I had to eat pasta and potatoes for days on end :-{
My first step was to find out what I thought and felt about being wealthy. I found that I had many negative beliefs that were attached to what it meant to have money in abundance. Many years ago I use to think that rich people were nasty, unlikable, selfish, big headed etc.
I realised that if this was the way I felt about people with money, then unconsciously I too believed that I would have become nasty, unlikable, selfish, big headed etc with money ( and who really wants to be that way?). These were ideas I developed from my upbringing, the media, my peers and personal life experiences.
What needed to happen first and foremost was a change my mind and perception of what it meant to be wealthy. So I changed my perceptions around what it meant to be wealthy and attached positive associations to who I would become when I became wealthy.
Money like everything else is energy, with a specific frequency. To attract something we have to be able to ‘tune in’ or vibrate at the same frequency. Its like looking for a radio station – except attracting money is more of an unconscious process. So unconsciously I was pushing money away from me.
